I’ve had a lot of stuff going on, which caused me to be nowhere near finished on the theme that I had planned for July. So instead of stressing out, I decided to just kinda throw something together that emphasises the practical and prioritises it over the aesthetically pleasing.

If it can’t be done the way it should be,
then it should be done the way it can be.

I live by this quote, which is apparently from some politician from decades ago. Not my proudest source for inspiration, but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s a motivating phrase to me. It also suits the situation of my theme this month perfectly, so it was an easy decision to include it.

So I simply slapped some paint on paper, freehanded some interrupted lines, drew some faux calligraphy and basically called it good.

Next month I’ll probably put together a nice looking theme again, but this month I’m happy to just use some quickly thrown together pages that will facilitate me and meets my needs.
