Midway through July I got inspired to play around with washi tapes, so I kind of threw together a fun little theme that isn’t really based on anything. In the end it gives kind of a tropical vibe, so that’s what I’ll call it.

I’m so proud of how far my handwriting has come! This S especially gives me joy, but I’m generally happy with the style I’m starting to grow into.

I’ve tried to use colours that are opposites on the colour wheel, like the purple and yellow in this spread.

To add balance on some pages I cut out some leafy branches from patterned paper and glued them onto the page.

Each week has a different colour scheme, again with some contrasting colours. The addition of the ‘tasks’ portion on the page is new. I want to try out if I can use it for to-do items that I tend to ignore in my digital productivity app and see if I’ll actually get some stuff done.

The exercise tracker is also formatted in a new way that I want to try out. I’ll be putting a little dot on the appropriate line in each day’s column. It’s consistently been a bit of a challenge to create a tracker that allows me to pick multiple options. If this works for me, I may continue to put it on my weekly spreads which would also solve the age old problem of having an uneven number of days in the week.

Let me know what you think in a comment below. And if you have any cool ideas for my exercise tracker I’d love to hear about those too!
