This prompt makes me think about the difficulty I have with grasping geometry and figuring out how to draw angles. I suck at math and haven’t been educated very much in the subject, so in honour of my best friend the set square tool I decided to draw out a 45° angle to then do a little gradient in it.
Again I practiced the hard/soft edge techniques here, playing around with opacity and saturation. I’m finding that doing these super simple exercises for artober are actually really helpful in mastering certain techniques that I know in theory but have to kind of ‘feel out’ to actually get them. We’re less than a week in and I’m already getting a lot out of this!
