I’ve been resisting painting the stereotypical watercolour poppy, but for this prompt I caved and tried it for once. It was a good opportunity to play around with transparency again, which I sorely failed. My lack of patience also played a part, which made me lose some definition. All in all it was a useful subject to paint and I may even paint some more after artober, since I clearly need the practice!
